Hydrothermal transformation of mixed plastic–lignocellulosic waste: selective biomass conversion, polymer–char structuring, and environmental implications
In this study, we explored the hydrothermal processing of mixed plastic–biomass waste streams, demonstrating how these challenging materials can be transformed into valuable products while providing new insights into plastic–biomass interactions and their environmental implications.
This work contributes to the development of sustainable waste-to-resource technologies and circular economy solutions for difficult-to-recycle waste streams.
