Dr. Matat Zohar
Lab manager; research on hydrothermal recovery of energy, nutrients, and agrochemicals from sewage sludge and black soldier fly frass
Email MatatScience is a team effort. Engineers, chemists, and soil and environmental scientists working together on integrated Waste-to-Resource systems.
Dr. Roy Posmanik is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion, where he leads the W2R Lab. His group combines thermochemical and biological processes to turn organic waste into materials, energy, and chemicals. He was previously a Research Scientist at the Volcani Institute and a postdoc at Cornell University, and holds a Ph.D. from Ben-Gurion University.
